VENUE
The Conference will take place in the Hotel APA Eva Senses, centrally located in Faro. Several popular hotels, restaurants and bars are located at a walking distance, including the historic center of Faro, which is a 5-minute walk away.
FARO, PORTUGAL
Faro is the capital of the Algarve region in Portugal. It is strategically located close to the mountains and the sea, housing the Ria Formosa Natural Park, with typical flora and fauna, freshwater lagoons and sandy islands. Despite being rich in natural resources, Faro is also a vibrant city with shops, cultural events, and importantly, an international airport just a few minutes away, good road connections, and an effective transport network.
ARRIVING BY PLANE
Faro’s International Airport is located just 7 km away. It presently receives flights arriving from the several cities in Europe and other locations in Portugal, like Lisbon and Oporto.

Regular shuttle, taxi and Uber services connect the airport to Faro and take approximately 15 minutes. The Municipality has also a bus network that guarantees connections between the airport and Faro city. Lines 14 and 16 are two options connecting the airport to the bus terminal.

ARRIVING BY BUS
Several Buses connect Faro to the rest of the country and some cities in Europe. Faro´s bus terminal/station is localized nearby the venue.

ARRIVING BY CAR
Faro is about two and a half hours from Lisbon by car, using the A2 highway and less than one hour from Andalusia, using the A22 highway. Reaching Algarve, the A22 Highway (Via do Infante) and the EN125 (national road) cross almost the entire region and two exits to Faro are available. Faro airport exit is the closest to the venue. ARRIVING BY TRAIN
If traveling from another point in Portugal, the train is a good option since Faro has a train station located at a walking distance (around 10 minutes) from the venue. One can travel from Lisbon to Faro in 3 hours and from Porto to Faro in 5 hours.
